Al Redentore Venice

 The basilica was built by Palladio at the end of the sixteenth century, as a sign of thanks for the end of the plague that struck Venice and around it developed the complex of the Convent of the Friars Minor Capuchin, with its red brick buildings and the airy gardens, among the largest in the city. The renaissance bulk of the church, inside rich in works of art by the greatest artists of the time, is a fundamental point of reference for Venetians and since its origins, a destination for pilgrimages from all over the Christian world. It is therefore clear the vocation strongly marked by hospitality that characterizes the entire complex of the convent, also designed to accommodate a large number of visitors.
